Yeast Free Pizza!
In our house, we eat whole, healthy foods as often as possible and as many of you know.. I am ALWAYS in the kitchen cooking something! I don’t discriminate. I like to cook, grill, bake, cook in my solar powered sun oven. I just LOVE to cook!
I always thought I’d end up becoming a chef as I began cooking and creating in the kitchen as early as I can remember. I’ve always leaned towards harvesting my own food to cook starting with the giant rhubarb patch my parents grew in our family home growing up. I’d head out with a sharp knife, cut rhubarb for days to create, rhubarb pies, rhubarb crisp, rhubarb ice cream sauce.. Now I want to go home and make a rhubarb pie! #ALASKA
These days I spend most of my cooking time preparing meals my husband can eat. About 16 years ago he suddenly became allergic to most foods. His diet is extremely limited and he can really only consume, wild or grass-fed meats, organic vegetables, organic fruits, some grains, and some nuts.
That means, I cook a lot of meat and veggie variations. What’s wrong with eating a primarily Paleo diet right? Right. Except, he gets tired of his limited diet so I am always searching for something new and fun to make for him on the weekends.
This Yeast Free Pizza recipe is a favorite of ours on Friday nights. Even the kids love it!
Keep in mind I am using real organic butter and flour so I am not touting this recipe as healthy or diet friendly but it our house it serves as a pizza dough Israel can eat and the kids actually like! Without further ado, here is our Yeast-Free Pizza Dough recipe! I hope you love it! I usually double the recipe as my family is hungry and the recipe makes 1-14 inch pizza with 8 slices.
• ¼ cup organic butter
• 2 ¼ cup flour
• 1 cup filtered water or milk
• Pinch salt and or sugar
1. Soften butter in microwave
2. Add flour, water, salt and sugar
3. Mix until dough forms a ball
4. Sprinkle flour on the counter and roll the pizza dough out with a rolling pin
5. Add organic spaghetti sauce or pizza sauce, browned grass-fed beef and spices
6. Bake in the oven at 375 degrees for 20-30 min depending on preference
